If you have
Google Earth
then you can open the following file to view the
Greenwich Emotion Map
Greenwich Emotion Map Network
Link (80k)
When you open the file in Google Earth please wait for the data to stream - it might take a
while to suck allt he photos down. What you should see is a dense mass
of tracks, annotations and photos generated by 40 people walking around the Peninsual.
You can reduce the clutter by going to the Places area and right clicking the main folder "Greenwich Emotion Map" and selecting "Hide Contents" (this turns off everything). Then I suggest you select a particular person and turn on their photos and Bio Mapping Walks.
If you tilt the view you see a "graphs" of that person's emotion map. A high point indicates high arousal.
The different coloured tracks indicate different people. The green camera icons show the photos they have taken, You can also turn on all the waypoints.
The image above shows all the Bio Mapping walks including the annotations that people have left of their walk. The colours are arbitrary and just indicate different people.
This is a detail from Zoe's walk. The height of the line indicates her arousal crossing the buys road.
Here Simone, Domino and Kandy went for a walk together and you can see that they reacted quite differently to the "Wasp Attack" and the art installation.
Here we see all the spatial landmarks that people have annotated.
Here we are viewing all the photos that the workshop
participants have taken. In Google Earth you can click
the camera icons to see the photos.

Since not everyone has a computer, internet access or Google Earth we are printing something like 500 Greenwich Emotion Maps that try to make all this information comprehensible.
